We need a Digital Content Producer

After a short but sweet stint with the Ministry of Empowerment, Leroy Robinson, our current Digital Content Producer, is leaving. We now require someone ASAP to take his place. The task description is below.

Volunteer Task Description

The Ministry of Empowerment (MOE) require a volunteer Digital Content Producer for their website www.ministryofempowerment.org.uk

We are a registered charity that helps to encourage, empower and support women regardless of faith and background. We also have other branches that support young people and families.

This is an opportunity to develop your career in the online world. The main focus of the role is to create content for the website, most of which entails informing our diverse audience of past and upcoming activities.

As a Digital Content Producer you shall be responsible for:

*Ensuring the website is kept up-to date with details of upcoming events.

*Creating useful and shareable content to support the main activities of the organisation, such as tips and guides and news pieces.

*Writing articles on past activities ensuring the tone and use of imagery is consistent throughout.

*Keeping abreast of current developments and disseminating this to our audience.

The ideal candidate will have some knowledge using the WordPress platform, as well as experience in editing and content creation. Some knowledge of HTML and SEO would be advantageous.
