Torquay, in southwest England, is a seaside town in Devon. Due to its healthful climate and sea air, it is often referred to as the English Riviera. Travelling around the town you’ll find large villas with Italian-style features. These were built by wealthy Victorians influenced by the Mediterranean. Tourist attractions include Kent’s Cavern and the Victorian Pavilion.
