Healing Wounds Project Volunteers Required

Calling anyone with an altruistic disposition. If you have a few days each month to spare and like helping others then we sure would like you to get in touch. We are always on the lookout for volunteers, as evidenced by our volunteering opportunities page. However, this is a special request for assistance in our Healing Wounds project, which is part of Woman2Woman and is funded by People’s Health Trust.

To help bring Healing Wounds to life, we will organise fortnightly informative and practical interactive drop-in and monthly therapeutic sessions along with much more exciting activities and events. To this end, we need:

Promotional/Data Entry Volunteer –  4 Days a month

The volunteer will help promote awareness of Healing Wounds project events and activities.

Project Administrator – 3 Days a month

A volunteer is needed to draft correspondence and reports, to help maintain office systems and to provide support to the Project Coordinator.

Photographer – 4 to 6 days a month

A photographer is needed to takes pictures at events. These pictures will be used on the website and in other publicity material. No previous photographic experience is necessary.

Please note: We are flexible with times, but these do need to be agreed in advance. Whilst a regular ongoing commitment is preferred we welcome anyone who can volunteer, even for a short period.
