YiPP ACTIVITIES

MATHS AND LITERACY
The MOE is committed to helping children improve their reading, writing and number skills. As part of this we provide maths and literacy help in a classroom environment with qualified teachers.

.

MUSIC/DANCE
Get into the groove with our keyboard, drums and guitar lessons. If that doesn't get you going then why not try your hand, or feet, at dancing. Many of our activities take place during the school holidays and involve both activities. See individual events for details.

.

ARTS AND CRAFTS SESSIONS
Kids of all ages love our arts and craft activities. And it's not about the end product, it's about creating your own masterpiece from nothing but your imagination and in a fun and engaging environment. Participants in our projects have created badges, face masks and t-shirts.

.

MENTORING
We all need someone to talk to, to discuss our problems and to share our thoughts. Children aren't always willing or able to talk to their parents or their peers. That's where we come in. As with all our our projects and events, we aim to enable young people to build confidence and self -esteem.

PAST YIPP EVENTS

Throughout the school summer holidays our Dependency 2 Change project offered females aged between 13-19 the chance to build self-esteem, confidence and improve the leadership skills. We offered interactive drama, pampering, arts and crafts, cooking and music sessions. Click the picture to see what a great time the girls had.
