The Ministry of Empowerment currently has four ongoing projects:
Provides social and training activities and project that will enhance spiritual and emotional well-being.
The ministry side of our work focuses on spiritual and emotional well-being. We organise events, retreats and seminars to give women the chance to build deeper relationships with one another and develop their gifts. This side of the charity also exists to provide women time and space to develop their relationship with God. We welcome all women to our events, regardless of their beliefs or faith background, but our ministry has an emphasis on Christian values.
Providing social and educational activities that will enhance educational and social achievements.
Youth in Partnership Project provides events for disadvantaged young people aged 8yrs – 18yrs. We aim to enable young people to improve their educational achievements and reduce anti-social behaviour by building confidence and self -esteem, improving quality of life and overcoming social isolation. We also provide volunteering opportunities for the young people involved with YiPP.
Established in 2011 our W2W project has the following aims:
– Allow women to acknowledge their self-worth and take responsibility in promoting a positive view of their lives.
– Develop their fundamental understanding to connect with their inner strength to deal with and overcome any kind of challenges that may emerge.
– Provide activities that allow women an opportunity to share skills and experience.
– Face life with a new dynamic perspective in their capacities as mothers, wives and productive citizens.
Our catering arm aims to provide a catering service tailor-made to suit requirements and budgets of our clients. We cater for a range of tastes and occasions – from simple buffets to a three course meals. Each event is tailor-made to suit the requirements and budgets of our clients.
