The purpose of the Ministry of Empowerment (MOE) is to empower women and their families to be holistically well; socially, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Who we are
We are a registered charity and our aims are to encourage, support and empower women and families regardless of background or denomination.
Helping to encourage, empower and support women regardless of faith and background.
- Deliver services to support women and their families who are facing physical, emotional, mental or other challenges.
- Provide practical, emotional, spiritual and physical support, using education training, information, advice and personal development activities to motivate and empower.
- Build confidence, skills and abilities so as to raise aspirations, access opportunities and develop better Life Choices for themselves and their families using Christian values.
- Improve community cohesion through events, outreach and personal development activities.
We welcome all women and their families to our events, regardless of their beliefs, faith or background, although our ministry has an emphasis on Christian values.
What we do
Under the banner of the MOE, there are four projects that offer a variety of focused events and activities geared toward supporting women and their families, as well as projects supporting ex-offenders or those at risk of offending. The four projects are Women’s Ministry, Youth in Partnership, Woman2woman and Empowering Catering Services.
