On Monday 18th April 2016, the MOE, as part of our Healing Wounds project, held a fondant rose tutorial session at Croydon CVA.

Fondant rose is the art of making roses to decorate cakes – edible roses of course! The petals were made by hand using a cutter and with flour paste of varying colours that was used to make the rose stand out. The facilitator for the event was Rose Julien.
