The London Borough of Croydon have an initiative whereby members of staff volunteer their time for 4 hours a month, helping local charities. As part of this initiative members of staff that would normally be more at home behind desks at Croydon Council offices assisted us with our move from Acts House to Cornerstone House.

They helped clear out folders, fix Dorothy’s laptop and generally assisted with the clean-up operation needed to smoothly transition the move. Croydon Council are one of the main funders of our initiatives and the fact that they also allow us to use their staff for volunteering purposes underlines their commitment  to smaller charities.

Thank you!
